ant 1.6.1 beta1 is released.
Apache Ant 1.6.1beta1 is now available for download <http://cvs.apache.org/dist/ant/v1.6.1beta1/>.
The ASF Board has approved the new Apache License 2.0. For a copy of that license, please see http://www.apache.org/licenses/.
The Ant 1.6.1 final release will probably be delivered with the Apache License 2.0, pending the result of a vote.
Ant 1.6.1beta1 fixes several bugs, most notably the handling of the default namespace for nested elements.
Ant 1.6.1beta1 also introduces initial support for compiling with Java 1.5.
