I am working on adding the branch option to the task cvschangelog. (Bug report with 10 votes)
I also plan to make a new task CvsVersion which will be able to set properties with the cvs client version and the cvs server version.
In order for the ChangeLogTask to be able to delegate to the CvsVersion, it needs to be able to know its cvs environment (cvsroot, cvsrsh, cvspassfile).
Does it break *BC* if I change the ChangeLogTask class to inherit from AbstractCvsTask instead of Task ?
This would make the ChangeLogTask more powerful (support for CVS_RSH, specific cvspass file, CVSROOT).
