Hi Per, I wish I had time to work more on getting 1.6 out of the door.
I need to review the bug reports which have been posted against 1.6beta and to make the manual of 1.6beta available online. These are currently my first priorities, and I do not have even enough time to take care of them. I will gladly review your bug report, but only when I will have the feeling that there is no showstopper for 1.6. Concretely, this might be in November. That is only me of course, and other committers can see it differently and review (and possibly commit) your code right away.
