http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=23602 Zip task STILL creates zip files incompatible with Winzip Summary: Zip task STILL creates zip files incompatible with Winzip Product: Ant Version: 1.5.4 Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows XP Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: Other Component: Core tasks AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Using Ant 1.5.4 i can still create zip files that are incompatible with Winzip. The difference between this and previous releases is that the problem now seems to only be on *large* directories. When i zip a directory that has ~20k+ files in it, Winzip seems unable to read the zip file created by the zip task. If i zip the same directory using Ant 1.5.1 Winzip works fine. The error given by Winzip is: "error missing {very large number} bytes in Zip file" Please do not mark this bug as a duplicate of 18196, i am running Ant 1.5.4 which has the fix to that bug, and it is still broken. I am running Winzip 8.1 SR1. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
