I think the behavior of <jjtree> is now different from the one in 1.5.3 if you don't specify outputdirectory (and outputfile neither). In the old code, output would get sent to the same directory as the grammar file, with the new code, I'm not sure as I don't know what jjtree will do when given a relative file name.
