Legally we'd need a software grant form signed by all people that have contributed to that task (or any other task that comes from anywhere else than Ant). In the case of Ant-Contrib's try/catch task, that would by myself (no problem if you really want the task) and Dan Ritchey (nobody else but us). I hope Dan's address is still correct. Still legally, the license would allow Ant to steal the code and fork it into Ant's code base even against the will of the Ant-Contrib project. Not that I'd advocate any such action, quite the opposite. AFAIK nobody has asked Matt or Curt (the project admins) yet.
