The trial download I received did not include javadocs. Did you find differently? I could look again. I think the Borland and formerly the StarBase approach also were to treat the javadocs as part of the resources available to PAYING customers only. Rather different from the Apache approach :-( In fact, my earliest efforts were done WITHOUT access to javadocs, using only decompiled code; I don't want to go there again - that approach led to the brain-damaged versions that existed prior to Ant 1.5.2. Ironically, the much better functionality in 1.5.2+ led to these problems with StarTeam 5.2. The brain-damaged version would not have had them. Your suggested third approach would work also. If a developer with 5.2 accessibility were to step up here that developer and I would probably need several back and forth iterations to verify 5.1 and 5.2 compatibility.
