If the loadproperties task is executed after the path definition, the servlet-2.2b.servlet.jar property will not have been set when the path is constructed. Later attempts to echo the property will be OK as it will be defined by then. If this is the case, you will need to move the path definition into a target to control the order of property setting operations. I'm going to mark this as invalid based on this assumption. If it isn't the case, or you want to follow up, please reopen.
