http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=15729 StarTeam rootLocalFolder should be java.io.File ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-04-04 17:59 ------- I'm still leaning toward making this change. One problem with evaluating the backward compatability issue is that I literally have NO idea how many clients are using the task as it is. The number of organizations that I know for a fact are using it (from emails, bug reports, etc.) is still in the single-digits. I would be surprised to learn that it is as high as 50. I could be way off on this but that's my gut feeling. As I said previously, I think the use case of using the StarTeam default directory is not one that fits in well at all with ant and I would be even more surprised to learn that a substantial proportion of our unknown user-base was tied to it. I think that with a new parameter and some kind of info in the readme, we would be sufficiently taking account of backward compatability IN THIS CASE.
