To Amogh & Jens, The reservations are as follows:
1) apache-airflow-providers-airbyte==5.5.0rc1: The PR #60451 (link: https://github.com/apache/airflow/pull/64051) failed to resolve the Issue #64048 (link: https://github.com/apache/airflow/issues/64048). The crux of the issue is that the execution timeouts are not being enforced in deferrable mode which is resulting in the Airbyte Sync running past the execution timeout period. 2) apache-airflow-providers-dbt-cloud==4.9.0rc1: The PR #66449 (link: https://github.com/apache/airflow/pull/66449) introduced a regression thereby causing the bug described in Issue #61467 (link: https://github.com/apache/airflow/issues/61467) to resurface. It is the same class of bug as the one described in 1) i.e. non-enforcement of execution timeouts but it applies to DBT Jobs instead of Airbyte syncs. I have provided a comprehensive update in my comment (link: https://github.com/apache/airflow/issues/67213#issuecomment-4513298790) on the provider testing thread as well. Both are runtime errors that may result in compute resources being consumed longer than necessary. As the fix is straightforward, I believe we can justify a second release cut for both of the aforementioned providers. Thanks, Sameer Mesiah.
