Hi, Following the discussion in: https://lists.apache.org/thread/ot6ldx3y1tjo8ss8tmd2k7vvgz9cc8mq
I'd like to call for a lazy consensus on simplifying the new community provider acceptance process. Summary of the proposed change: * Drop the [VOTE] (and the [LAZY CONSENSUS] shortcut) from the community provider acceptance process * A [DISCUSS] thread on the devlist open for 7 days is sufficient. If no objections are raised, the proposal is considered accepted and the contributor can open a PR. * The prerequisites remain unchanged: working codebase, at least two stewards, a sponsoring committer, and quality standards. The corresponding docs update is here: https://github.com/apache/airflow/pull/66010 The lazy consensus will be reached in 72 hours on: Friday, May 8th, 2026, 03:45 PM UTC No need to reply unless you object to the proposal. If you support it, a +1 is always welcome but not required — silence counts as consent. Elad
