News to me that Vikram wasn't a PMC member until now. His contributions have
always been of PMC caliber. This is definitely very well deserved!
Congratulations, Vikram!!!

Dear Airflow Community,

The Project Management Committee (PMC) for Apache Airflow has invited *Vikram
Koka *to become a PMC member and we are excited to announce that he has
accepted our invitation.

Vikram has been an active member of the Airflow community for more than 5
years. He has been an Airflow committer since December 2020 and has played
a significant role in the Airflow 2 release, and now continues to be a key
contributor towards Airflow 3. He has co-authored several impactful AIPs,
including Scheduler HA (AIP-15), Data-driven Scheduling (AIP-48),
Setup/Teardown (AIP-52), and Task Execution Interface (AIP-72). He remains
a key driver of the vision for the Airflow project, bringing both strategic
and technical insight to the community.

Vikram delivered a fantastic keynote on Airflow 3 at this year's Airflow
Summit last month.

We are thrilled to have him on board as a PMC member. Having worked with
Vikram for more than 5.5 years, I couldn't be more excited to see his
increased contribution in steering the direction of the project.

For those unfamiliar, PMC members help manage and guide the overall
direction of the project.

Congratulations, Vikram, and welcome aboard!

Best regards,
Kaxil
On behalf of the Apache Airflow PMC
