Hi Airflow Dev's, Following a brief pitch in Airflow 3 Dev Meeting I am calling a LAZY CONSENSUS for the drop of Python 3.8 Support for the upcoming Airflow 2.11 Bridge release.
Notes: - We would follow the release and support policy as described in https://github.com/apache/airflow/blob/main/docs/apache-airflow/installation/supported-versions.rst - A PR for the Python 3.8 removal is in DRAFT in https://github.com/apache/airflow/pull/42788 and would need to wait to be merged on v2-10-test branch until 2.11 release is cut. - Python 3.8 support is already removed from main which means that the last cut of providers already limited to Python 3.9++ Will leave this vote open until noon UTC Friday oct 18. Unless there is opposition the vote will pass.
