I have to disable branch protection for our v2* branches temporarily and do maintenance for those - expect the branch protection to be disabled for a short time in a few minutes and re-enabled after the maintenance is complete. Just in case - it means that some of PR could be merged without approval accidentally (for those old branches). It is highly unlikely to happen, but please (committers) be aware of it. J.
