Hello guys, I am Jitendra Jain(github: @jitendra29) and am a graduate Computer Science student at NC State University. Me and my peer Jigesh Mehta(github: @jigesh-mehta) would be working on implementing support for missing XMLHttpRequest APis for servo as part of our project in CSC 517 under Dr. Ed Gehringer.
We have successfully forked and cloned the repository and tested the build on ubuntu 14.04 environment. We have also enabled the overrideMimeType() property for XMLHttpRequest interface and added a stub for the same to the rust file for XMLHttpRequest. We have now adjusted the expectations of the passing tests and are on our way to implement the overrideMimeType method according to the xhr specifications. We look to be done with the inital steps by approximately 10/23/2015 before we can submit a pull request.
