Following my last message[1], the code for the old style system has been removed (bug 1447358, bug 1447367), and cleanups started (bug 1447367, bug 1447476, ...).
There's tons of easy-ish cleanups that you're welcome to help with if you want, see bugs blocked by https://bugzil.la/stylo-everywhere. The --disable-stylo build option is gone (bug 1447611), and thus you may need to update your mozconfig. Apologies in advance if you used it as a way to get faster build times by building less Rust code . If you're really annoyed by it there's some low-hanging fruit to do on our side, like bug 1412441, that I'm happy to mentor / help with.
