Not quite. Of course, I don't wanna compile-in things that aren't necessary here (eg. the media stuff). But that lead to lots of problems, so I'm now getting my hands dirty and try to fix at the root.

Nope, they directed me to this list, as these things aren't in tbird's own tree, but generic mozilla.
(Also, there's already a thunderbird package in Debian)
An old one. And it still contains lots of dead weight, I'd like to get rid of.
