The Mozilla supported Persona authentication service will be decommissioned and cease to operate on November 30th. Since bugzilla.mozilla.org (BMO) allows users to authenticate using Persona, the BMO developers will need to also remove the authentication method from BMO before that time. We have developed a plan to give users ample time to switch to an alternative method of authentication before the cut off date. The details are outlined in our RFC document which we invite people to view and give feedback before we start the countdown on October 1st.
