Well there is <https://github.com/mozilla/jwcrypto> which does JWS. It is available in privileged JS through jwcrypto.jsm (i.e. resource://gre/modules/identity/jwcrypto.jsm).
There's some code usage for these things in the MobileIdentityManager, Webapps and Payments jsms.
