1) It's trying to run Flash. Will it work correctly if I just don't
let it do that? I haven't found anything broken so far even though I
didn't allow the Flash.
Bug 1030710 removed the "copy to clipboard" use of flash - the only
other use is as a socket.io fallback [1], but we shouldn't be hitting
that in a recent browser? That said, jmathies is also hitting this -
I've CCed you on bug 1042627 - let's discuss there (I agree we shouldn't
be using Flash in our tools).

2) It seems to use a narrower space than tbpl for the patch
descriptions; at my window width and font size I don't even see the
entire bug number for most commits....
I've filed bug 1042590.
3) The revision id is linkified, but clicking it just focuses the
corresponding push in treeherder. Can I get links to the actual
changesets somehow?
The button with the arrow on it is what currently links to
hg.mozilla.org, however the SHA link target needs to be fixed too. Bug
1042592 will do this and ideally combine the two since one or the other
will then be redundant.
4) If I click on a build with failures, about half of the space in the
panel that pops up (on its left) is unused, while the info I actually
care about (the failure messages) is scrunched into a tiny space about
200px wide at most.
I agree - I've filed bug 1042599.
(Nightly normally gets half of my 2560 screen width, but it would still
improve readability of the bug suggestions for me, and I'm on a much
larger screen than most).
5) It might be nice if the numbers that represent the different types
of jobs indicated whether that type of job is toggled on or off for the
push.
Good idea - I've filed bug 1042605.
6) The lack of a clear and obvious "is the tree open?" indicator is a
bit annoying.
The tree open/close state is shown in the current UI, but it could be
more obvious I think. Filed bug 1042613.
Either way, Treeherder doesn't currently have a favicon - adding one
that denotes tree open/closed state (like TBPL) would get us part the
way there - bug 1042616 is filed for this.

Bug 1032437 is already filed for the initial pageload being slower than
TBPL - though I suspect most of that is not UI perf related, so I've
filed another for this - bug 1042621.

I've filed bug 1042646.
Thanks for the feedback so far :-)
