The normal place I'd look for the detailed message is something like https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/NNNNNNNN, which shows the full commit message.
It's unlikely that anyone will ever look.
The only time someone will look is if your code isn't doing what they think it should for whatever reason. This is true for commit messages in general.
