Ok. What should we do in the mean time? Does anyone know if it's
possible to get gdb going with XCode 5 on Mavericks?

This should help in the mean time:

Given that new versions of XCode don't even ship with gdb
        anymore, I think
we need to treat lldb as a supported tool, and figure something
        out here. I
don't think it makes sense to have every developer on a new mac
        platform
        reverting all the UNIFIED_SOURCES stuff.

I think somebody needs to file a bug with the lldb project and
describe the problem to them and ask them for a fix. We are not the
only project using unified builds, so this problem is not specific
to Mozilla. Given the fact that they can handle setting breakpoints
in header files, they should be able to fix this in the general case.

    Cheers,
