That would be awesome! IMO the truly correct fix would be to have the session 
store take into account explicit calls to window.close() during shutdown. The 
way it's done right now is a tad hacky since it just ignores window closures 
regardless of the cause.

If that's not feasible then some sort of exclusion API would be perfectly fine 
as well. The only reason I'm groping around for hacks right now is that there 
doesn't seem to be a clean solution.
