Activation does not Work sometimes

Environment: Magnolia RC4 configured for MYSQL using the
DataSourcepersistenceLayer (same problem occured also with
simpleDBpersistencelayer)

Activation does not always work. unfortunately i did not find suitable Log
entries, actually there are no Exceptions in the logs at all (neither Tomcat or
Magnolia Logs)
How i can reproduce:
1. e.g. Right click on a Dialog Folder, in my case it was the following handle,
containing about 17 Dialog definitions: modules/templating/dialogs/mgb
2. Choose to activate including Subnodes
3. Wait.
4. The system displays a "internal server error" instead of the node after the
process finished.
as i Wrote i dont see log messages that correspond with this, is there a
possibility to increase the log level?
