I posted this question in the user list, so Gregory (thanks to him),
answered me but as it seems a question a little bit too much oriented
programming nobody else answered me so Greg suggested me to post it
in the dev list. I finally think that if we have question about
simply usage of magnolia we can post in user list. If we develop
magnolia to improve it, we have to post in the dev list. But we are
developing our own features in magnolia there is no list to post in.
And the aim of each list is not even clear in all mind (even in
magnolia developers).
I'm sorry for the misunderstanding Harold, but I meant magnolia-*
lists might not be the best place to get appropriate help on general
(non-magnolia related) testing practices :)
So as to answer your question, I'd just point you to the extensive
openwfe docs and a bit of google for mocks (there are certainly tons
of great articles out there who will show you why/how you should use
them - then mailing lists for the mock framework of your choice - I'd
recommend easymock-2.2 if you can go with java5 for testing)
Cheers,
greg
