I had a look at JCRExpressionStore.
Seems like all the expressions are stored as the children of 1!
node... I couldn't fetch back the post about that in the jackrabbit
mailing list, but that might not be the best thing, it's better to
balance in the small (2-3 levels) hierarchy.
1 workflow instance with a sequence containing 3 participants would
typically require 5 nodes, I don't know how many pages a 'big site'
might need... As I've said, I've read somewhere (in fact, one of the
student I was supervising for her OpenWFE + Jackrabbit master thesis),
lots of children nodes for 1 node might degrade Jackrabbit
performances.
What's your experience about it ?
I'll come up tomorrow morning (swiss time) with a enhancement for the
contentIterator() method, but I'd like to have your opinion on the JCR
"one node, many children" question.
