Not only for template, if we have node types in place you can still
configure as you described below.
In addition if you wanna group templates with paragraphs
something like
+ [templates]
+ - [twoColumnTemplates]
+ - - simpleTemplWithTwoColumns
textAndImage
SimpleText
+ - - anotherTemplWithTwoColumns
SimpleImage
List
+ - [headerImageTemplate]
I just think it will be lot easier to manage. But sure if it does not
make sense we dont have to do this.

Hi Alex
basically it allows you to manage template configuration in a
hierarchical manner, at the moment its all under one node.
But in future we will have node types for all configuration items,
for instance a node type mgnl:template so that you can define
template
anywhere you like and we simply search for this type in config
workspace.

While I can see a usage for organizing templates like:
+ [templates]
+ - [twoColumnTemplates]
+ - - simpleTemplWithTwoColumns
+ - - anotherTemplWithTwoColumns
+ - [headerImageTemplate]
....
I cannot see a good reason why you would like to split them all over
your Config workspace. Is there any real scenario requiring this?
