Discussion:
- Train-79 was released, then subsequently rolled back because of a
spike in 400 errors. Train-79 was re-released w/o the spike in 400 errors.
Thanks jrgm for the quick turn-around.
- I give thanks to everyone but for rotating note taking/meeting summary
duties. These emails aren't that big, but take a non-trivial amount of time.
- Send SMS work
- I have a fully "working" integration of the three major components
done by pb, vbudhram and I. Going to do a demo in the Monday meeting.
- Feature doc needs to be updated with metrics, moved to GitHub.
- The failure modes need to be gone through with rfeeley to ensure
users still get a reasonable experience when there are SMS
sending problems.
- If we want to use Short Codes in the US, we need to get some
business folks involved to fill out forms [1].
- The never-ending "Working...." message on the firstrun page was
fixed by jpetto of the Growth team in record time. They did some work to
prepare for the new firstrun test and inadvertently modified the existing
flow.
- Divya is working on enabling mailcheck for everyone [2]. This
experiment has been running for a long time, the experiment data is no
longer telling us anything new. Time to enable the feature for everyone.
- We started a style war. (foo) => {} vs foo => {} vs "whatever". Vlad
sent out a poll to see if we could reach consensus on one to use across all
repos. 50% choose (foo) => {}, less than 50% choose each of the remainders.
We still haven't settled this.
- jrgm and Vlad have fixed the DB connection problems with verification
reminder polling. Reminders are enabled on latest and fxa-ci. The
respective owners of those boxes need to keep an eye on whether the DB
continues to run out of connections.

- stomlinson to re-enable fxa-auth-mailer in fxa-ci
