Hi All, Earlier today we had our weekly FxA show-and-tell session, and you can find the (MoCo-only) recording here:
https://vreplay.mozilla.com/replay/showRecordDetails.html?recId=3856 The highlights: * Sean showed off the results of his massive test-refactoring PR on the auth-server, which replaces node-tap with mocha as the test framework. The difficulty of debugging auth-server tests has been a popular theme in recent retrospectives, and this change promises to bring significant improvements on that front, so it was well received by many! * Vijay demoed his work on the "ip profiling" feature, which lets users skip the sign-in confirmation email if they're on an IP address from which they've recently signed in before. Initial metrics on the potential impact of this feature suggest it could simplify to 20% or more of daily login attempts. * I took the liberty of showing off some shiny new graphs based on the work Phil has been doing lately, to segment our KPI queries by OS an by service. You can see the preliminary results at https://sql.telemetry.mozilla.org/queries/1597#2842 https://sql.telemetry.mozilla.org/queries/1598#2850 * Vlad presented some of the login flows developed during the recent multi-device-connections work-week, which use the "email verified" screen as an opportunity to help the user connect a second device. Thanks to all who participated, and look forward to seeing more great stuff next week! Cheers, Ryan _______________________________________________ Dev-fxacct mailing list [email protected] https://mail.mozilla.org/listinfo/dev-fxacct
