Hi All,
Earlier today, those of us not hanging out in Toronto had our weekly FxA
backend catchup meeting, and we touched on the following topics:
* Brainstorming things that we could change while the rest of the
team wasn't looking. Sean's working on a good one but you'll
have to wait until the demo session on Monday to see it ;-)
* Now that our activity+flow-event metrics pipeline seems to have
stabilized, :jrgm and :jbuck will take a look at running it all
in the production AWS environment, rather in the dev environment
where it is currently.
* The train-72 deployment was completed successfully, apart from the
fact that the content-server is missing SRI attributes. We fixed
this in master, but should backport it to train-72 in case the next
train is delayed for other reasons:
https://github.com/mozilla/fxa-content-server/pull/4358
* We'll cut train-73 this week, and it will include our next attempt
at deploying Verification Reminders, as well as some new integrations
with sentry.
* There's a fix in progress for content-server flow-event timestamp
issues, but it may miss train-73 as it has some complex dependencies.
Phil's going to take a final look at it tomorrow.
* We should consider our train schedule over the December period, and
whether we want to alter it to account for Thanksgiving, Mozloha,
AWS re:Invent, the Holidays, and the New Year. I'll send a separate
email to discuss.
Cheers,
Ryan
