Hi All, Today we had our weekly FxA demo session, recorded here for your MoCo-only viewing pleasure:
https://vreplay.mozilla.com/replay/showRecordDetails.html?recId=3645 The highlights: * Phil gave a demo of the re:dash charts that will underlie our KPI dashboard, including "time to device connection", "engagement ratio", "multi-device vs single-device DAU and MAU", and the new "sign-in funnel" graph. There are some open questions about the reliability of the data, but it's an exciting preview of the metrics capabilities we will have going into Q4. * Vijay demonstrated his work to centralize all email sending logic in the auth-server; previously the content-server would take it upon itself to trigger a re-send of the account verification email under some circumstances, which was making the sign-in confirmation flow more complex than it needed to be. * Vlad showed us the new https://github.com/vladikoff/fxa-dev-launcher repo, into which he's extracted the help logic necessary to launch a new Firefox profile configured to use state, dev, or various of our other custom FxA server environments. * Shane walked us through an experiment he's been doing with our l10n and templating infrastructure, which we didn't record because it's security-related. Thanks as always for a jam-packed half hour of demos! Cheers, Ryan _______________________________________________ Dev-fxacct mailing list [email protected] https://mail.mozilla.org/listinfo/dev-fxacct
