Hi All,
We had our weekly FxA Product Meeting today, and the (MoCo-only, sorry!) video is available at: https://vreplay.mozilla.com/replay/showRecordingExternal.html?key=igLtay6UYb8QxPI If you can't or don't want to watch the video, here's a summary of some of the features and issues we discussed: * We dug into a mysterious change in DAU on iOS, following up on the recent thread on the fxa-staff list. We've got an explanation for some of it but not all of it, so Alex is going to keep digging in. * The CDN feature card was officially moved to DONE \o/ * The outcomes and metrics can be found in the feature doc at https://github.com/mozilla/fxa/blob/master/features/FxA-49-cdn/README.md * There are open questions about why it didn't have has much of an impact as we'd hoped; let's make sure we file follow-up issues to track them. * The Password Blocklist feature card was officially moved to DONE \o/ * We explained away the apparent 10% drop in registration success as a metrics artifact, not a regression in user-facing behaviour. * Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have been very successful in helping users make better passwords, but we don't have anything further we want to learn from this feature. * The sign-in unblock feature card has no outstanding design questions, so we've moved it into "building" \o/ * We've got more and different metrics coming in about the sign-in confirmation feature. Unfortunately there's about a 10% difference in the completion rate reported in re:dash and the completion rate reported in kibana, so we've got more work ahead of us to try to explain this discrepancy. * Good progress has been made on the node4 upgrade * It's shipped in auth-server, and hopefully will ship for the other servers after the deployment of train-69. * The KPI Dashboards feature is powering forward and we're looking forward to some demos from Phil on Monday :-) * The first phase of the devices view should be ready to ship in early August, which will give us some initial metrics and let us know how much to invest in further iterations of this feature. *Phew*. These hour-long product meetings are always packed to the brim with things to discuss, which is a little exhausting, but super valuable. Thanks to everyone who was able to join in! Cheers, Ryan _______________________________________________ Dev-fxacct mailing list [email protected] https://mail.mozilla.org/listinfo/dev-fxacct
