I’m not sure what the focus on this is, certainly at first blush things like Add-on management are already covered and things like crash tests don’t seem relevant. But I can see that new services like Push, OAuth, Storage and so on may not have a dashboard and something that shows data about those services is going to be useful.
Developer services is something I’m really interested in and think we should push at Mozilla and for that we’d need a front end to that service to all people to perform actions and request jobs without having to build out all the front end, authentication and queuing etc that we seem to rebuild on every service. But I would need to understand a bit of the focus of those projects to see if there is an overlap. You’ve already cc’d Laura on this who is probably doing the most thinking on it, I’ve certainly got opinions on it and would be glad to help. > On Oct 9, 2015, at 4:00 PM, William Maggs <[email protected]> wrote: > > Andy, > > Perhaps on top of these near-term needs we can also bring into the discussion > developer services you and Laura have discussed at various times, including: > > compatibility > crash tests > security > > Bill > > On Fri, Oct 9, 2015 at 3:37 PM, Christopher Karlof <[email protected] > <mailto:[email protected]>> wrote: > Hi Andy, > > One topic that has started to come up more frequently is the notion of a > developer dashboard for Firefox developer services.
