note that one of the reasons we need a newer Kerberos is that our ancient Heimdal doesn't support modern ticket algorithms like SHA-256. if gssd continued to use the old Heimdal code, would it be able to load these new tickets? if not, this wouldn't be very useful even if it did technically work.
