Technically "Show System HUD" doesn't hide elements, it shows elements (at
the top of the screen) when you enable it. Also these elements are not
duplicating the ones at the bottom: top is for System app (hence "System
HUD") while bottom is for currently visible app (e.g. Clock, SMS, Keyboard,
etc.).

"Hide All HUD Elements" is useful if you want to track your device's
metrics (e.g. for logging or telemetry purposes) but you don't want to be
bothered by graphical widgets - that options just hides them all.
