Hi all, As announced in https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/mozilla.dev.b2g/4nXSxvGEoVc b2g now uses the same "chrome-like" add-ons as desktop.
That's only a first step though, with more add-on api coverage and a safe mode coming.
