Thanks for the answer but it seems to be too late for me. I tried to
re-apply the upgrade tool to my phone but it fails. I guess it is
because I have your 1.4 system on my phone.
I don't know what I miss by not checking this option but it seems my
phone is correctly unlocked.
If I do
adb shell getprop ro.secure
I get 0 which means my phone is unlocked.
I tried to install back 1.3 versions from ZTE on my phone but I cannot
achieve it. So I will stay like this and hope everything will be ok

Yes you need to check it, this allows phone to be completely wiped and unlocked.
