I meanwhile created another variant:
A bricked phone would not work with the Windows flashtool, I tried it several times. You will need my kit to flash the reduced system.img file in order to have an adb sideload-working flash process. That's why I created it. Everything you need is hosted on the github repository. The TWRP recoverymod is in the make, I will need some time until it's finished. https://github.com/martensms/zte-openc-rootkit You can't fix only using fastboot, because fastboot can't write boot partition nor can it flash files bigger than 256MB, it's a bug on the phone-side. Rooting works, but is limited to a manual booted boot.img session due to the flashing problems. That's why TWRP needs to be ported for device-flame. Read my guide, explains pretty everything. I can't port CWM recovery because their building system ( builder.clockworkmod.com) is broken. The jenkins there is accepting entries, but not building them because of previously renaming the project tot "recovery-deprecated".
