That's weird, v1-train should work nicely, master on the other hand *will* contain significant bugs as that's the development version and can change significantly on a daily basis.

If you haven't backed up your images then you'll need to find a way to get the original image from Alcatel. On their web-page they provide a tool to upgrade the phone firmware, with a bit of luck it might enable you to reflash it with the original firmware (I haven't tried myself but it sounds like a good place to start from).
