Absolutely!

And that's precisely what I was thinking. When there's no more value in the secret, we should make it easy for new contributors to decode as much as possible of our recent newsgroup posts, irc conversations, and other documentation. That could definitely improve the onboarding process for new contributors.

I'll reach out to stakeholders, make sure I'm seeing the whole picture, come up with a document and plan for keeping it updated, and get back to this list with a link ASAP.
