Hi,
Some people showed me their interest in having SGS2 supported again, mostly
*potential* contributors but some mozilla staff too, so I thought that having
another JellyBean 4.3 device to play with would be interesting, so I found some
time to port SGS2 to this new platform. Apparently, Samsung is not going to
provide support for this phone anymore, so it was not as easy as I expected!.
This is still a very early stage of the port, so it's really buggy right now,
anyway I would like to integrate all my work with mainstream repositories, I
just wanted to stabilize it a little more before start sending patches and PRs.
If someone is interested in testing it, or just want more details, I wrote all
the instructions here:

MDN page, promise!)
Oh! It's a dual-boot kernel, so you can have both CyanogenMod 10.2 (JB4.3
based) and FirefoxOS installed on your phone.
SGS2 is back! ;)

Juan, this is very exciting. I'm going to be getting an SGS2 ASAP and
giving this a try.
You mentioned that there's interest from potential contributors here and
I'm sure that's true. Have any of those interested spoken with you about
help maintaining an SGS2 port? I'm very interested in seeing a project
like that supported and I'd like to work with you to organize some
community around such an effort.
I'm very new to the Firefox OS project but I'd love to help here any way
I can.
