Hi Ivan, My ZTE open stops at a blank screen with few white lines on top. Connecting USB to Windows 7 pc would enable the fastboot to list is as roamer2 device.
This happened after I rooted the stock ZTE open from eBay (purchased US, shipped from UK) with the EU SD package content, but ASSERTs removed in the update-script and repackaging it so as to bypass the verification failure. The recovery mode (recovery-clockwork-6.0.3.3-roamer2.img), ended up with "Installation Failed" (instead of verification failed). After the above step, I ended up with just the firefox os splash screen going no where but able to see the device using fastboot. I tried something more, used fastboot erase on boot, splash, system etc. and ended up with what I have now :-(... complete stupid newbie mistakes may be? The fastboot only successfully does erase, flash function ends up with FAILED read status failed (too many links) . Do you think I have any shot at unbricking my device? Best regards.
