It looks like your current proof of concept is already implemented and
usable in any browser isn't it?

I recommend starting to read on how Firefox OS apps work, but assuming
you already got something working on the web you might just need to add
a manifest and be done with it:

We do have a lot more documentation about developing for Firefox OS on
MDN too!
