Hi all, We've started a process change at our contractors to sanity check both RIL versions (mozilla RIL and Commercial RIL). The Commercial RIL sanity check is the entry criteria for contractors to run the full smoketest (currently 46 cases) against the device. This is because we are shifting our focus to supporting the commercial RIL.
The Mozilla RIL sanity check, which, starting Monday, will again include an OTA (we skipped this today because we started smoketest on commercial RIL), will determine elegibility for promoting the build to beta and dogfooders. Due to resource constraints, we do not recommend a full smoketest on mozilla RIL build moving forward.
