Title:
Inline error message truncated if too long

Status in Eye of GNOME:
  Fix Released
Status in “eog” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: eog

If eog displays an error message that is too long to fit into the
width of the window, it gets truncated.

It probably should either use multiple lines to display the error
message or use ellipses to indicate that there is more text that just
  doesn't fit in there.
