Title:
Application menu is still visible when screen is locked

Status in “gnome-screensaver” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Ubuntu Release: 11.10

  Version of gnome-screensaver: 3.2.0-0ubuntu1

  What I expected to happen:
The lock screen should be displayed with only the window to enter the
password.

  What happened instead:
The lock screen is displayed properly, but the application menu is still
visible. (see attached photo)

I'm not sure if this is filed under the correct package. Please change
