Quoting: "If you want to use LibreOffice you need to do a: apt-get install libreoffice to get a complete libreoffice"
This really don't make sense for me. WHO will do an "apt-get install libreoffice" if we already see it on menu? All peoples here believe that libreoffice was installed, because we can execute Writer, Calc, etc. IF calc is installed, it must open old spreadsheets... And this not happening (try open the file attached on this bug report). And, to save size for media concern, try remove packages really unnecessary, like kppp (see bug #970889), quassel, akregator, etc. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to libreoffice in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/955490 Title: ODS files created on Libreoffice 3.4.4 (build 402 - on Windows7) don't open in 3.5.0 (build 13) - File attached Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu: Won't Fix Bug description: I have some files created on Windows7 (Libreoffice 3.4.4 - build 402), but now is impossible open it on 3.5.0 build 13 - Kubuntu 12.04).
