@madbiologist I do not know if it still occurs in Ubuntu 12.04, has there been any actual progress towards a fix? I don't think there has been any fixes so I would bet it still is broken. If you can prove there has been an effort to try and fix it I will gladly download the latest snapshot of Ubuntu to try and see if it is resolved and if not I will provide any details.

Currently the e-book is unlock-able, I assume because it needs to access and authenticate with a web-server. The fields are a user name and password form with an unlock button.
