With no application in use I started Remmina to connect to another Linux-Box. No conextion was set up -> timeout.
Start of "Network" from the Dash, click on Network proxy -> after 3 - 5 seconds crash of "Network" / closed the window. Now with Firefox writing this words ...... I tried to open "Network" and it is possible to switch between "Wired" and "Network proxy" to see the information. Now on the same time I started Remmina to try to connect like before. But now the main Window is gray (overload?) and the little "Connecting to ..." window is open but you can't use the Cancel button. On the "Network" Window selected "Wired" the Options.... -Button is deactivated. After an CLOSE and OPEN "Network" the Options... -Button is active again. To close the Remmina Window you have to click on the close button of the main window and use the Force Quit in the upcomming window. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/958898 Title: [network]: gnome-control-center crashed with SIGSEGV in nm_device_get_udi() Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Opening the Appearance dialog ProblemType: Crash DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: gnome-control-center 1:3.3.91-0ubuntu4 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-19.30-generic-pae 3.2.11 Uname: Linux 3.2.0-19-generic-pae i686 NonfreeKernelModules: wl ApportVersion: 1.94.1-0ubuntu2 Architecture: i386 Date: Mon Mar 19 00:22:20 2012 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/gnome-control-center InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS "Precise Pangolin" - Alpha i386 (20120311) ProcCmdline: gnome-control-center --overview SegvAnalysis: Segfault happened at: 0xa35f39c3 <nm_device_get_udi+35>: cmp %eax,(%edx) PC (0xa35f39c3) ok source "%eax" ok destination "(%edx)" (0x00000115) not located in a known VMA region (needed writable region)!
