You have been subscribed to a public bug:

There are a fair number of people I'm connected to in Facebook whose
feeds I have indicated I don't want to see. That works in Facebook's web
UI, but Gwibber is still presenting the posts from such people. It's a
bit annoying. I'd like to avoid unfriending these people (they _are_ in
my network) but unfortunately without doing so really drops the signal
to noise ratio of the stream presented by Gwibber.

I'd have to guess you are constrained by the API presented by Facebook,
but if there's any way to query whether the user has actually requested
certain posts (or more to the point, all posts by a given user) be
omitted then it'd be terrific to use that information to not present
those posts in Gwibber.
